Introduction to the Devout Life, 2:15 Besides attending Mass every day, Philothea, be present on feastdays and Sundays at the office of the Hours and of Vespers, recited publicly in Church, whenever you can conveniently do so. 

 

Honouring Saints

Introduction to the Devout Life, 2:16. God sends us inspirations very often through his Angels.  So, we must also send him our longing for him frequently through them.

 

Hearing and Reading the Word of God

Introduction to the Devout Life, 2:17  Love the word of God. Listen to it always with attention and deep respect, whether your hear it during familiar conversation with your spiritual friends or in sermons.
