Francis de Sales outlined a universal way to live God’s love fully that seems to be designed for today’s world.  For him “the mystical life is life –everyday life, with events foreseen and unforeseeable, with its sufferings and joys, its friendships and its separations, its worries and its consolations – natural life but totally penetrated, ‘soaked through’ to use his expression, by and in the will of God.”

    

    

Francis de Sales’ conception of life is dynamic, but is filled with a spirit of peace and equilibrium.
